Garden Days 2020

On Saturday, March 28, 2020, the LSU AgCenter and Tangipahoa Parish Master Gardener Association will co-host the annual Spring Garden Day. 

On Saturday, October 24, 2020, the LSU AgCenter and Tangipahoa Parish Master Gardener Association will co-host the  Fall Garden Day which replaces Pollination Celebration held in previous years.

Location: Both Spring Garden Day and Fall Garden Day will be at the LSU AgCenter's Hammond Research Station in Hammond, LA located at1549 Old Covington Highway Hammond, LA 70403 0533

Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.   Admisson: $5.00 per vehicle

Spring and Fall Garden Days will provide
  educational exhibits, 
  kids’ activities,
  gardening seminars,
  gardening advice,
  plant sale - several vendors will have available for sale well known and new plants, shrubs and trees,
  vendor booths - with a variety of goods and plants related to gardening, plants, and outdoors,
  food concessions
 

The purposes of these events are to
(1) educate the public on LSU AgCenter gardening and related topics recommendations;
(2) showcase garden products and services available in the area; and
(3) provide a fund-raising activity for the Tangipahoa Parish Master Gardeners to enable continued support and information related to the mission of TPMGA in Tangipahoa Parish.

If you have a business or craft or food concessions, we hope you may be interested in exhibiting/selling at both events to make gardeners and consumers aware of your garden related products/services available in this area.

Deadlines for exhibitor/vendor registration are 

Thursday, March 19, 2020, for Spring Garden Day and
Thursday, October 15, 2020, for the Fall Garden Day to
 ensure your listing in the event program.
