Payout Information

The Purse

The total purse money will consist of the total entry fees (excluding green fees, skins or other optional competitions) of all participants plus any TPMGA added prize money. TPMGA added prize money will be outlined in the tournament information prior to the start of any event.

Prize money is paid out in gift certificates redeemable for merchandise in the Twin Peaks Pro Shop.

Tie Breakers

Tie breakers for first place for the Club Championship or other tournaments so posted will consist of a sudden death playoff, with the playoff hole(s) to be determined by the tournament Chairman and club professional. For match play events, sudden death play will continue as determined by the pro shop. For all other tournaments, there will be no tie breakers - any ties will be declared to be a tie and prize money for those places will be shared equally.

Places Paid

The number of paid places will be calculated for each flight by multiplying the number of flight participants times 20%, or other payout number as determined by the tournament committee, and rounded up or down to the nearest whole number. For example, a flight with 18 participants times 20% = 3.6, therefore 4 places would be paid.

Prize money will be allocated according to the percentages in the following chart multiplied by the total prize money for the flight. Ties will share equally in combined prize money for those tied places. For example, if three players tie for second place, the prize money for second, third, and fourth would be combined and divided among the three players.
